Ongoing research continues to prove that present expertise has only skimmed the surface of this novel approach to bainitic nucleation.  Just as those in the past worked for years with McFarland patents, in the future, a great many opportunities will exist to enhance this unparalleled bainitic transformation technology.

The academic possibilities of cost effective bainitic production are irresistible when one considers the research funding that will soon be spent on this "flash" formed bainite.  A great many research projects, and associated technical papers, will be presented by those few entrusted to reinforce these newly discovered bainitic operations as a foundation for their studies.  No longer will grants need to be spent liberally only on problematic martensite and prolonged, isothermally held bainite for the aforementioned applications.
